Volunteers:

The Church is described in Scripture as a body with many members, each playing a vital role. We experience this truth every Sunday at PBC.  As Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 12:12, “Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.” Volunteers are the hands and feet of the church, serving in countless ways to help the body function effectively. Whether greeting people at the door, leading worship, discipling the next generation, or serving behind the scenes, each act of service contributes to the mission of helping people love Jesus, live like Jesus, and lead others to Jesus.

Here at PBC, volunteering is more than just filling a role—it’s our response to God’s love and a way to live out our faith. When we use our gifts and time to serve, we reflect Christ’s example of selflessness and strengthen the church community. If you’re already volunteering, know that your service matters deeply and makes a lasting impact. And if you’re not yet serving, consider how God might be calling you to get involved. Together, as one body with many members, we can accomplish far more for His Kingdom than we ever could alone.
