Every year when I look back, I am always grateful for you, but this year hits a little deeper. 2022 has been unique and significant for so many reasons, but God joining Bethany Bible Church and Phoenix Bible Church together is obviously a historic piece that will mark 2022 for years to come.

I want to sincerely thank you for your patience, humility, and partnership in this unique year. I realize the process leading up to the union has been exciting, stretching, and humbling. However, you have never wavered in your love, prayer, service, and generosity, and for that I am truly grateful and inspired.

Especially at this time of year, I want to express my gratitude for your financial generosity. Your sacrificial giving not only cares for our staff and families, but also fuels the many ministries that bless our church, city, and beyond. As I reflect on 2022, I’m in awe of the way your generosity has impacted lives for eternity. There is no way to account for it all, but I have included just a few examples across both the Phoenix Bible and Bethany Bible congregations here:

  • 33 Baptisms Celebrating New Life in Jesus
  • 11 Families Participated in Child Dedications
  • $54,000 Total of Special Offerings Given to Impact Needs Globally
  • Consistent Support to Over 20 Local and Global Mission Partners
  • Robust Benevolence Demonstrating the Love of Jesus in Tangible Ways to Numerous People in Need
  • ~ 700 Gifts Given through Ohana (Foster Care) and BBC Espanol Mexico Mission Trip
  • ~ 550 Hope Totes Prepared and Given to the Phoenix Rescue Mission
  • 813 People Joined Our Unified Christmas Eve Celebration of Jesus’ Birth
  • TWO CONGREGATIONS ONCE SEPARATED BY STREETS AND BUILDINGS NOW JOINED TOGETHER AS ONE BODY, FOR THE GLORY OF GOD AND THE GOOD OF OUR CITY!

None of this would be possible without your generosity. Thank you.

As we look forward to 2023, my prayer is to continue to expand our efforts to help people love Jesus, live like Him, and lead others to Him. As our two churches join together, we have the potential to see even more lives impacted by the love of Jesus. With this potential, there is also the need for provision as we support a growing staff team, facility, and outreach efforts.
