Unity:
At Phoenix Bible Church, we celebrate the beauty of diverse Gospel Community. Our church is a body made up of many diverse members, each uniquely gifted and called. While there are many differences, we all share one thing in common: our need for Jesus. In Ephesians 4:3, Paul urges believers to “make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” This unity is not uniformity; it is a beautiful mosaic of people from different backgrounds, ages, and experiences coming together for the glory of God. When we live in unity, we reflect the love of Christ to a watching world, embodying His prayer in John 17:21: “that they may all be one, just as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You.” Let’s start the new year in praying for unity.
This Week’s Prayers:
1/01-Shared Mission: Pray that the entire congregation remains focused on the shared mission of glorifying God and making disciples through this change.
01/02-Harmony in Diversity: Ask God to help people from different backgrounds, schedules, and preferences embrace the second service as a unified body of Christ.
