What’s New In The New Year | Phoenix Bible Church

As we begin the New Year, my prayer for you is not merely to “be better” or “do more”, but to consider what Jesus is up to in our world, our church, and in your life, and to join Him. Church, did you know that in this new year Jesus is inviting YOU to participate in His eternal story?! What an opportunity that lays before us all. Below are just a few ways you can take hold of this opportunity.

James Sermon Series

Faith is never meant to merely inform your life, but rather transform every aspect of your life. Sunday we begin a 13-Week journey in the book of James, and discover a “Faith That Works”. Here’s a preview of where we’re headed:

Make an effort to be there every Sunday and catch the Podcast or Facebook Video when you miss. This Sunday we’ll celebrate the launch of the series with PIE after service! Plan to stay after a few minutes, enjoy some pie, and connect with others.

21 Days of Prayer

As we begin the New Year, we are setting aside 21 Days of Prayer to ask God that He would move powerfully in-and-through us at PBC. On Sunday, January 12th, we’ll kick of 21 Days of Prayer with Prayer Journals for everyone. We’ll also invite you to replace something else in your life with prayer through fasting. The last week of our 21 Days, we will gather together for a special Night of Prayer and Worship on Wednesday, January 29th.

The Meaning of Marriage Study

Marriage is one of the most joyous unions humanity knows. But, it’s also one of the most difficult. Join us for this 4-Week study as we learn how to have marriages that flourish in the way God intended. The study is part video, part teaching + discussion.
